NEW CHURCH
The final High Mass at our current church (and, co-incidentally, the final High Mass until September) is tentatively set for the 24th of June, 2012 (Nativity of St. John the Baptist).
Renovations are already underway in the priory and the Sanctuary at the new property. Please offer your prayers that the renovations will proceed snag-free and be finished mid-August at the latest.
Summer masses will be held in the basement of the New Church from July 1st onward until the Sanctuary renovations are completed.
WELCOME
Immaculate Heart of Mary is a Traditional Catholic Community in Calgary, Alberta. We celebrate daily Latin Mass, and offer the sacraments according to the 1962 Latin rite.
Come join with us in traditional worship at any of the daily masses; should you wish to attend a Sung High Mass, please join us on Sunday at 10am. For a complete schedule of all upcoming services including daily Latin masses, High Masses and confession times, please click here.
ABOUT US
Sunday High Mass (Missa Cantata)

On Sundays at 10:00 am (September thru June) we celebrate the parochial mass with SATB choir, Gregorian Chant Schola, organ accompaniment & improvisation, a full complement of servers and incense. This choir at High Mass is sometimes joined by chamber orchestra and a choir of boys and/or girls. This main weekly service is preceded by a public recitation of the rosary at 9:00, and begins promptly at 10am with the procession & sprinkling rite (Asperges or Vidi Aquam as the Season dictates). Plan to arrive early. If you are unfamiliar with the traditions of the Tridentine Latin Mass, please check out this page for some helpful suggestions.
Devotions
As a traditional parish, we are blessed with the opportunites for daily confessions, public rosary, Rosary & Benediction on Sundays & Thursdays, First Friday devotions, First Saturday devotions, and daily masses celebrated in the traditional rite. We also embark upon an annual pilgrimage to St. Joseph's Shrine near Sundre, Alberta.

Private School
We operate an Alberta-Education-accredited K-9 school, St. John Bosco Private School, which is open to all Baptized Catholic children in the Calgary area. St. John Bosco is the only Traditional Private Catholic School in Calgary. Students are taught the Alberta Program of Studies in a traditional Catholic environment. Very reasonable tuition, coupled with qualified, friendly staff and a very attractive student/teacher ratio less than half the provincial average, makes St. John Bosco Private School an excellent alternative for a Traditional Catholic Education. Supplementary information is to be found at the school website.
